The 75th Annual Fall Conference will be held at The Lodge at Gulf State Park. It will be a three-day conference focusing on this year’s theme Bridging the Gap. We anticipate 150-200 paid attendees comprised of executives, officers, specialists, and support staff from the Bureau of Pardons & Paroles, Alabama Department of Corrections and Community Corrections.

Adam is a former law enforcement officer and has faced many of the challenges law enforcement officers face daily.
In 2015, he left his career in law enforcement and has devoted his life to delivering proven tools and resources for the mind and souls of first responders. His raw, unfiltered story of overcoming the trauma of childhood sexual abuse, experiences from law enforcement, and battle with suicidal thoughts and substance abuse position him as a powerful force of hope for millions of people today. His work has touched over 100,000 lives since 2018 and he is best known for his work to deliver faith, hope, and love to those who serve.
He has presented for major universities, law enforcement agencies, military bases, and conferences nationally. Adam has presented his story of conquering some of life’s most smothering battles and how these principles can be applied in every life to achieve optimal performance and fulfillment.

Adam is the spokesperson for REBOOT Recovery First Responders, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing faith-based trauma healing for first responders and service members. Adam and his wife, Amber, reside with their three children in Alabama. His sole purpose is to help others discover the life-changing love of Jesus and live a life Unconquered in Him alone.
Derek Osborn, CPS, CPM is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama who earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law and the Courts from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Derek served as the Executive Director of the Parents Resource Institute for Drug Education (PRIDE) from 2013-2020 and turned a small, one-person prevention organization into a team of eight prevention specialists, multiple interns and hundreds of volunteers. Derek is a Certified Prevention Manager and Specialist through the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium. He has been a featured presenter regarding drug trends and the dark net at multiple conferences and webinars across the United States including NCAD and the CADCA Mid-Year Institute.
Derek currently serves as the Executive Director of Turning Point Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. Derek is also the Founder of DrugUniversity.org which is a new initiative involving multiple partners in the addiction field involved in prevention and research of the drug trade. He also serves as a consultant for non-profit, treatment and drug prevention organizations.
Derek is a West Alabama Leadership Award Winner of 2017, graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa class of 2009, a member of the Druid City Business League and the Non-Profit Policy Council, a member of the NCAD faculty, an instructor at the Alabama School for Alcohol and Drug Studies and serves on multiple advisory and planning committees for the State of Alabama. Under his leadership, PRIDE was awarded Non-Profit of the Year in 2019 by the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce.

Dustin Rivenbark is a determined inspirational speaker who is taking his passion for motivating the leaders of today, using stories of inspiration and unwavering faith.
Mr. Rivenbark is a keynote speaker for the National Beta Association in which he speaks to thousands of teenagers and future leaders of America on the topic of “Leadership” each year. Michael started his career in law enforcement at the age of 19 years old and has worked in this industry over 18 years. He has worked as a police officer, border patrol agent and for the federal prison system. Michael has proudly served as Area Director, President, Vice President of Education and Treasurer for the Toastmasters Organization. He has received multiple awards, including Distinguished Toastmaster, First Place in the Toastmasters International Speech, and the Evaluation Contests at the Division Level.
Michael has utilized his education and experience to deliver keynote presentations, administer leadership assessments, facilitate mastermind groups, provide one-on-one executive coaching, and host leadership workshops to thousands of leaders.
