The Alabama Council on Crime and Delinquency (ACCD) is proud to announce that we are offering one (1) $2,000 scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year!

The requirements are as follows:

Complete the application below.
Compose and submit with the application a 500 word essay on one of the two topics listed below:
- “How Would You Reduce Recidivism?”
- “How Would You Improve Law Enforcement Officers’Relationship with the Public?”
The scholarship materials must be submitted NO LATER THAN June 30, 2024.

Please be sure to provide your anticipated institution information, as funds will be provided directly to the institution to be deposited into the recipient’s account.
One (1) scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded.
For the essay, grammar will be considered, however, the essay will be more heavily scored on content.
